Come experience a Central New York autumn tradition at Beak & Skiff's Apple Hill. Ride a tractor pulled wagon into our beautiful orchards to pick your own seasonal apples right off the tree while enjoying the spectacular view and fresh country air!
Tips for Picking:
In order for you to enjoy picking at Beak & Skiff, we ask that you and all members of your group observe the following information:
- Do not shake or climb the trees.
- For everyone's safety, do not throw fruit, and do not run through the orchards and picking fields.
- Walk carefully through the orchards.
- Pick only in designated areas. Each day we check the fruits for ripeness and suitability for picking. Picking in undesignated areas will affect the quality and shelf life of your fruit.
- Pick only what you want. Do not pick fruits and discard them on the ground. When picking, handle produce carefully. Treat the plants and trees with respect.
- All pickings must be weighed and paid for at each designated Picking Booth.
- We are dog lovers, but due to the number of visitors we ask that you please leave your dogs at home (except for service animals).
- And most importantly.....Have a great time!
All Beak & Skiff's Apples are excellent for eating fresh. Choose the variety that matches your taste. For best results, keep Beak & Skiff apples refrigerated. The Picking Schedule below delivers approximate dates and you should call ahead to confirm picking conditions. We want your trip for our homegrown apples to be a positive experience so please know that these dates are estimates. You can reach us by dialing 315-696-6085.
